Before you write in

Most issues are faster to resolve from inside the app than through email:

  • A playbook returned the wrong answer. Open Activity → run detail → “Re-run with note” and add a correction. The agent learns the override into memory.
  • A connection is broken. Connections → tile → “Reconnect” runs a health check and re-auths if needed.
  • Thynk is doing too much / too little. Connections → tile → disconnect a tool to take it out of scope, or pause the agent entirely; reconnect when you’re ready.
  • You want to export everything. Settings → Data → “Export account” produces a ZIP of memory, runs, and audit logs within an hour.

FAQ

How is Thynk different from Shopify Flow or a chatbot?

Flow is a deterministic, single-app rules engine. A chatbot reads docs. Thynk is an orchestrator that reasons across Shopify and your connected apps (Klaviyo, Meta, Gorgias, Slack, …) — one prompt fans out to specialist agents that each operate within their scope, then the lead synthesizes the result back to you.

Which apps does Thynk connect to?

At launch: Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, Gorgias, and Slack. Through Composio and MCP we reach Linear, Notion, HubSpot, Intercom, Telegram, Google Sheets, Stripe, and dozens more. New skill packs ship roughly every two weeks.

How much control do I have over what Thynk does?

Thynk acts only within the scopes you grant each connection — it can never reach a tool or store you didn’t authorize. When it needs a value it can’t derive (a recipient, a quantity, which of two close matches), it asks you in an inline form before it builds or sends. Every action is logged to the audit trail and reversible where the underlying app allows it, and you can pause the agent or disconnect any tool at any time.

Do you train AI models on my store data?

No. Your data is not used to train external models. Memory persists per merchant, per skill pack, isolated from other tenants. Aggregated, de-identified usage signals help us improve the orchestrator itself.

What happens if a playbook fails or returns the wrong result?

Every run is in Activity with its full reasoning trace, MCP calls, and outcome. You can re-run, roll back any write that supports it, or open a support ticket attached to the run ID — we can usually diagnose within the same business day.

How does pricing work?

Free tier with a daily run limit; paid plans with higher limits and access to premium skill packs. See the Pricing page for current tiers. Billing flows through Shopify — your existing invoice, no separate card.

How do I uninstall? What happens to my data?

Uninstall from your Shopify admin. Your account, memory, and operational caches are purged within 30 days. Audit logs are retained for 12 months for compliance, then purged. Request immediate deletion via privacy@thynk.app.

Is Thynk available outside the United States?

Yes. The app works for any Shopify store regardless of region. Data residency for the underlying database is currently US-based; EU residency is on the roadmap for Q3.
